The Michelin Guide 2025 Istanbul-İzmir-Muğla selection was revealed during a ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus on Dec. 5.
32 New Restaurants Added to the 2025 Selection
A total of 32 new restaurants, including two Michelin-starred venues, joined the 2025 selection for Istanbul, İzmir, and Muğla, bringing the total number of recommended establishments in Türkiye to 132.
New Michelin Stars and Recognitions
Among the newly discovered restaurants, two received Michelin Stars, while eight were awarded Bib Gourmand recognition and six earned the Michelin Green Star.
2025 Michelin Star Recipients
This year, Casa Lavanda in Istanbul and Narımor in İzmir were each awarded a single Michelin Star.
Michelin Green Star and Bib Gourmand Awards
Restaurants committed to environmentally conscious gastronomy received the Michelin Green Star, while exceptional establishments offering reasonable prices were honored with the Bib Gourmand Award.
Expansion of the 2025 Bib Gourmand List
The number of Bib Gourmand restaurants in 2025 has expanded to 27, with 14 in Istanbul, 8 in İzmir, and 5 in Muğla.
Additional Recommendations in the Michelin Guide
22 more restaurants were included in the Michelin Guide recommendations, featuring a diverse selection from İzmir, Istanbul, and Muğla.
Special Awards for 2025
The 2025 Michelin Sommelier Award was presented to Yunus Öztürk, and the service team of the Michelin-starred restaurant Nicole received the Michelin Service Award.
Young Chef Award and Continued Recognitions
The 2025 Michelin Young Chef Award was given to Serhat Doğramacı of Mezra Yalıkavak, while several restaurants like Araka, Mikla, and Maçakızı maintained their stars.
