Togg maintains dominant position in Turkish EV market

In November, Togg, the Turkish electric vehicle manufacturer, emerged as the leader in the country's EV market by selling 4,211 units, securing a market share of 32%. Major competitors such as Tesla, BMW, and Mercedes lagged behind in sales. Turkey's total vehicle sales saw a 5.3% increase compared to the previous year, with Togg also leading in year-to-date sales with 24,361 EVs sold.

Togg Leads Turkish EV Market Once Again

Togg has reaffirmed its position as the top-selling electric vehicle (EV) brand in Turkey for November, outperforming major competitors like Tesla, BMW, and Mercedes in terms of sales.

Strong Performance in November

In November, Togg recorded sales of 4,211 EVs, contributing significantly to the 20.8% year-on-year growth of the Turkish EV market, which reached a total of 13,544 units. Togg's market share stood at an impressive 32%.

Competition Overview

Tesla secured the second position with 1,862 EV sales, followed by BMW at 1,465 units. MINI and Mercedes-Benz trailed behind with 698 and 601 EVs sold, respectively.

Overall Vehicle Market Performance

Overall vehicle sales, including passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, saw a 5.3% increase in November compared to the previous year, reaching 121,094 units. Passenger car sales specifically totaled 94,595 units, marking a 3.5% annual increase.

Togg's Year-to-Date Sales

Having delivered a total of 24,361 EVs in the first 11 months of the year, Togg maintained its leadership position in the Turkish EV segment, capturing a 29% share of the market.

Competitor Performances

During the January-November period, Tesla followed Togg closely with 9,227 EVs sold, while BMW and Mercedes-Benz achieved sales figures of 8,041 and 4,532 units, respectively.
